Extended Learning

Builds friendships between students, offering social mentoring while improving the quality of life and level of inclusion.

K-5

Learn to create using watercolor paints with Mrs. Halderman.  Learn basic techniques and have fun painting.

  A paint palette, brushes and paper will be included.  Come and try your hand at something new that is relaxing and enjoyable.

K to 8th grades

Learn to play chess! Improve your strategy, learn from mentors, and have fun. All skill levels welcome!

Advanced Music Class

Be prepared to prepare more advanced music scores along with the rest of the class. For example, we play music by Elvis Presley and the Beatles.

Due to the advanced nature of the class, we are accepting students from third grade on up to eighth grade,

with the current exception of our current band members.

Owning your own instrument is preferred, especially if already you know how to play it a little bit.

Right now, the instrumentation (we are looking for) is as follows:

Guitar, Ukulele, Piano, Drums, and possibly Xylophones.

SEL extended learning will concentrate on peer interaction, kindness and empathy. 

Utilizing videos, books, stories and prompted conversations, it will be a meeting place to share thoughts and shared experiences.

Art & Master Course Program with Aaryon “Bird” Williams - Learn from professional interdisciplinary artists with a different theme each day.  Mondays: Learn the elements of creative writing in 3 areas; Poetry, Script Writing and Songwriting.  Tuesdays: Learn the elements of theater in 3 areas; Performing, Acting and Singing. Thursdays: Learn the elements of visual art in 3 areas; Drawing & Painting, Photography and Cinematography.  Fridays: Explore the arts as an independent individual in with of the three art forms in the course.
