Curriculum
Language Arts
North Valley Academy uses the Harcourt Reading and Language Arts program in grades K-6 and Prentice-Hall, a subsidiary of Pearson, in grades 7-8.
Math
NVA uses a variety of math programs at all grade levels including Harcourt in grades K-6, Holt in grades 7-8, AIMS, and real world application.
Science
Grades K-5 use Scott Foresman Science as well as interactive science kits from the Center for Hands On Learning. Grades 6-8 use the Foss Science Interactive kits through Delta Education.
Social Studies
Grades K-6 use the Scott Foresman Social Studies program and grades 7-8 use the Prentice Hall curriculum as well as Roberts and Roberts New Mexico History.
Fine Arts and PE
All students K-8 participate in Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Drama and Dance, and Physical Education.
